Preparing for your new car

You've just bought your new car from Border Motor Group and we know that you'll be looking forward to taking delivery of it and this page will help you to ensure that everything is ready for you on collection.

When you arrive to pick up your new car you will need to bring the following:

  • V5 Registration document
  • MOT Certificate (if applicable)
  • Spare keys
  • Service book and receipts
  • Driving licence (photocard)

We'll be arranging for the preparation of your new car soon so if you would like us to organise any of the following please don’t hesitate to give me a call:

  • Accessories

    Before your vehicle goes through our workshop process you have the opportunity to select from a vast selection of accessories available designed to enhance and protect your car including: mud flaps, boot liners, roof rails, tow bars, protection packs and dash cams. If you let us know if you would like any of these fitted prior to collecting your car we will happily arrange for you.

  • Finance

    Our finance partners can provide a range of comprehensive and competitive funding packages all designed to offer you a flexible approach when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. If we have not already discussed these or you would like more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch. If you have decided not to take finance please note that we accept the following methods of payment:

    • Bank Transfer – please allow 48 hours to clear before collecting your new car.
    • Internet Banking

    GAP covers the gap between the market value of the vehicle at time of loss and either the original Net Invoice Price or the outstanding balance of the finance agreement, whichever is the higher claim amount.
